Privacy Policy

CodeByGreen is the independent studio of Joseph Green. This policy explains what this website (codebygreen.com) and the GeneLink demo at genelink.dev collect, and how it's used. It does not cover self-hosted installations of the GeneLink plugin: when you run GeneLink on your own WordPress site, that data lives on your server, under your control, and never reaches us.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email us (for example at developer@codebygreen.com, or by joining the early-access list) we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it only to reply and, if you asked, to contact you about GeneLink.
- Basic server logs. Like most sites, our host may automatically record standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — to operate and secure the site.
- The demo. The GeneLink demo at genelink.dev is a shared public sandbox. Anything you enter may be visible to others and is reset and deleted on a regular schedule. Do not enter real personal information about living people.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use it for advertising or ad targeting.
- We don't request payment information on this site.
Cookies and analytics
This site aims to use no more than strictly necessary cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this section to name the provider and what it measures. (Confirm before launch.)
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that host and deliver this site (such as our web host and email provider), as needed to operate it, or where required by law.
Retention and your choices
We keep emails you send us for as long as needed to help you and keep a record of our correspondence. Email developer@codebygreen.com at any time to ask what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to leave the early-access list.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the effective date above when we do.
