These terms govern your use of the CodeByGreen website (codebygreen.com) and the GeneLink demo at genelink.dev (together, the “Sites”), operated by CodeByGreen, the independent studio of Joseph Green. By using the Sites you agree to these terms.

The demo

The GeneLink demo is provided for evaluation only. It is a shared, public sandbox: content you enter may be seen by others, is not private, and is reset and erased on a regular schedule without notice. Don't enter real personal data about living people, confidential information, or anything you need to keep. We may modify, suspend, or remove the demo at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Sites to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape at a scale that burdens the service, or otherwise interfere with normal operation.

The GeneLink plugin

The GeneLink plugin is licensed separately from these website terms. As software built for WordPress, GeneLink is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL); any additional terms, where applicable, accompany the plugin itself. Nothing here grants you a license to the plugin.

Intellectual property

The CodeByGreen and GeneLink names, logos, text, and design on the Sites are owned by CodeByGreen unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by law or with our permission.

No warranty

The Sites and the demo are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeByGreen and Joseph Green will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Sites or the demo.

Links

The Sites may link to third-party sites we don't control and aren't responsible for.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We'll change the effective date above when we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
